The UK Prime Minister to Urge Supporting Countries on Extended-Range Weaponry for Ukrainian Forces at London Conference
The UK Prime Minister will push supporting countries to deliver Ukrainian forces with further extended-range weaponry to strike enemy locations during talks in London on this Friday.
Sir Keir will host President the Ukrainian head of state alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", comprising numerous of Ukraine's allies who have committed to provide Ukraine defense assurances once hostilities pause is negotiated.
Ukraine's president has been urging for an extended period for more extended-range systems from the West, a move that the Russian government has warned would intensify the conflict.
Ukraine's leader is journeying from the EU capital, where he met EU leaders on yesterday requesting financial support.
"The sole individual engaged in current hostilities who refuses to halt the war is the Russian leader," Sir Keir said.
Sir Keir furthermore reveal that a hundred further air defense systems will be delivered to Kyiv sooner than scheduled, as outlined in a substantial financial arrangement reached between Britain and Ukraine in spring.
Diplomatic Momentum
The Ukrainian president travels off the back of significant diplomatic successes in recent days: Donald Trump's decision to finally apply new measures against Moscow, and European countries deciding to finance Ukraine's financial gap.
The Prime Minister is seeking to continue the momentum by escalating the pressure on the Kremlin to discuss a resolution to the hostilities.

Britain's leader will urge participants to expand the supply of long-range weapons following a productive operation on a manufacturing site in the Russian city, Russia, using British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles.
"And his brutal assaults on small children in a preschool this week show that abundantly clear," he added.
Two children were part of at least seven lost in multiple Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory, which hit a preschool facility in the second biggest city the eastern city.
Financial Discussions
Britain's leader will confer with supporting countries on how to take Russian oil and gas out of worldwide commerce.
Delegates will also discuss employing blocked Russian resources to supply the Ukrainian government with monetary support, although the initiative faced divided opinions and legal hurdles at the EU conference on the previous day.
European nations declined to approving an initiative to utilize up to €140bn in seized Russian resources to financially prop up Ukraine.
However, the participants consented to assist with the country's "financial needs" for the upcoming biennium.
